Animal protein especially red meat is acid forming and thus creates very favourable surroundings for many diseases especially cancer. Most meat is contaminated with hormones and antibiotics which tampers with our own hormonal balance and mucks up our immune systems.

Fish is often contaminated with heavy metals like mercury. Too much red meat and all forms of processed meat has been proven to cauase cancer.
