The Cleaning Products that Converted me
For quite a while I had been searching for safe, environmentally friendly household cleaning products that are affordable. I had tried the organic range of Enchantrix, as well as most of the green options you find at ordinary super markets nowadays. But none of these came close to the GNLD range.
You may know these products as the old Golden Products. If you do, the name Super 10 would be familiar to you.
I remember my mom coming home from a demonstration party somewhere in the 1980's greatly impressed with her purchase. She even showed us how to clean off food stains and art splashes from our own clothes by holding a cloth under the stain, spraying with the Super 10 dilution and dabbing with the other end of the cloth.
Now it was my turn and I was impressed by the range because of four
things:
- Affordability: If you compare a 1:10 dilution of Super 10 which is
your general all purpose dilution, to your regular Handy Andy. For a litre
of Super 10 you will pay R7.73, while the same quantity of Handy Andy will
cost you R9.85. For more price comparisons check out the attachment.
- Versatility: Sticking for a moment with Super 10, it can be used for all purpose cleaning, but also as a stain remover like Preen or Vanish by spraying it on stains before washing or by applying it to stains, agitating it a little and then dabbing (great for carpets and upholstery). Now think of how much money you can save! These other stain removers are so much more expensive. Super 10 is also great for oven cleaning at 1:3 dilution and it is fume free! Clean grease off car engines too, as I said, so versatile. One product replaces many and greatly simplifies the amount of products in your cupboard, we are all trying to get rid of clutter, aren't we?
- Bio-degradable and non-toxic. Did you know that if a two years old swallowed Super 10 or any other cleaning product in the range, he may foam at both ends, but he will not need to be rushed to the emergency unit? As for the environment. Not only is it bio-degradable within 3 days, it is packaged in concentrate so you save on packaging material and therefore waste. The bottles are themselves made of recyclable plastic. What a bonus!
- They work! What more can I say? It is a pleasure to clean, now,
because my products actually do the job!
These reasons were good enough to get me linked on as GNLD distributor simply so that I could convert my whole household to these great cleaning products and it has saved me bundles. It cost me only R300 to link on and I have already saved over a thousand rand on cleaning products this year.
You may wonder why I clean so much. You will only wonder that if you do not
have experience of a growing baby learning to eat, pour, spread, dig etc. I
never knew the meaning of cleaning before Benjamin (and now Daniel too). If you want more info on cleaning products, let me know.
