1-2 tsp raw cocoa powder (or ordinary organic because raw is sometimes hard to find)
1-2 tsp honey
1.2 tsp coconut oil
A dash of flaxseed oil
Pinch of sea salt or rock salt
Quarter cup water
Blend, scoop out into individual cups or bowls, refrigerate and enjoy.
Tips and variations:
Play with the ratio between cocoa and honey. We love it bitter and not so sweet, but you may prefer otherwise.
Replace the flaxseed oil with tahini for a different taste or even add a dash of cream if you are not anti dairy completely (cream does not contain the harmful dairy protein).
If you want to save on honey and add a little texture, use dates for sweetening.
Add all manner of other healthy ingredients that may tickle your fancy: a sprinkle of hempseed powder, or even barley or wheat grass powder, chopped nuts or seeds... a little grated orange rind...
